Newport Cabinet and the Mount Vernon Ladies Association have partnered together to create the Mount Vernon Home Collection inspired by the life, home and character of one of the greatest men in America, George Washington. Throughout his life, Washington used architecture to create not only a personal image among his peers and countrymen but, more significantly, an inspiring and enduring national identity.

Washington's meticulous attention to detail and appreciation for superior craftsmanship is evident in this solid maple collection of bedroom furniture. The main design element found throughout the collection is the heart-shaped scroll motif which was inspired by the decorative pattern Washington used to adorn the crown molding in the central passageway of this home.
